The short version: NumberPace doesn't collect, store, or transmit personal data. There's no account, no analytics, and no server behind the app. Your settings live on your device, and that's it.

Who this policy is from

NumberPace is an independent app made by Vlad Tanasescu (info@rezell.co.uk). This policy covers the NumberPace iOS and Android app and this website (numberpace.rezell.co.uk).

What the app collects

Nothing. NumberPace has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no backend server. Practice results, scores, and answers are never sent anywhere — they only exist for the duration of a run on your device.

What's stored on your device

The app uses your device's local app storage (shared_preferences on Android, NSUserDefaults on iOS) to remember:

This information stays on your device. It's removed when you delete the app or clear its storage.

In-app purchases

If you buy "Unlimited practice", the purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — not by us. We don't see your name, email, payment details, or any account identifier; we only see that a non-consumable product was purchased on this device. Restoring a previous purchase works the same way: your store account tells the app it owns the product, and the app unlocks the feature. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies cover the data they handle:

Voucher codes

Voucher codes (e.g. NUMP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) are validated entirely on your device. The app checks the code's signature against a secret built into the app and unlocks the feature locally. No code, redemption event, or identifier is sent off the device.

Children's privacy

NumberPace is designed for children aged 6 and over and for the parents, carers, and teachers who help them practise. We don't collect personal data from anyone, including children. The app contains no advertising, no third-party tracking, no social features, and no links out to other services beyond the platform store flow for the optional unlimited purchase.

The app is intended to comply with the UK Information Commissioner's Office Age Appropriate Design Code, the EU GDPR (including special protections for children under Article 8), and the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by design — the simplest way to protect kids' data is not to collect any.

About this website

This site is a static set of files served from numberpace.rezell.co.uk. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't run analytics, and doesn't have a sign-in. The page does load the Fredoka and Nunito fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request, governed by their privacy policy linked above. If you'd rather not load the fonts, blocking fonts.googleapis.com in your browser is enough — the page still works, it just falls back to a system font.

The site is hosted on a server we operate in the UK. Standard web server access logs (timestamp, IP address, requested file, user-agent) are kept briefly for operational and security purposes and are not used to build profiles or shared with anyone.

Your rights

Because we don't hold any personal data about you, there's nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on request. If you want to remove all NumberPace data from your device, delete the app — that's the complete picture. If you'd still like to contact us with a privacy question or complaint, email info@rezell.co.uk. UK residents can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts collecting data — for example because we add a feature that genuinely needs it — we'll update this policy and change the "Last updated" date above before that feature ships. The current version is always at numberpace.rezell.co.uk/privacy.html.
